With a viewing distance of up to 100 feet, these low maintenance green photoluminescent exit signs are ideal for situations where a wired solution is not possible.
This photoluminescent exit sign, unlike others, can be installed both indoors or outdoors where light is available. Photoluminescent exit signs are still code compliant even if your building shuts off the lights at night, because they only need light when the building is occupied.

Installation

This a single-sided, ceiling/end wall(surface) mounting exit sign. For proper installation make sure this photoluminescent exit sign is located near an external light source with at least a minimum of 5 foot-candle (54lux) illumination of unfiltered metal halide, fluorescent, mercury vapor, or LED charging light to ensure it is charged and will glow in the dark for at least 90 minutes after a power outage.
