ProductDescription : The Midland MXT275J MicroMobile™ 2-Way Radio is designed exclusively for use on the GMRS. The MXT275J combines 15 watts of power with a detachable external magnetic mount mobile antenna for up to 3 times the wattage of a typical handheld GMRS model! Plus, the controls are fully integrated into the hand microphone for easier access while in a vehicle!

The MXT275J has 15 GMRS channels and 142 privacy codes plus 8 repeater channels for full access to all available frequencies on the GMRS. It also has 10 NOAA weather channels with weather alert and weather scan to keep you informed in case of emergency. It's compatible with handheld GMRS radios, so if you already have some, the MXT 275 should fit right in.

The Midland MXT275J has powerful features, including 5 selectable tones, tone alert, channel scan, monitor mode, keypad lock, and keystroke tones. It also has a digital volume control and silent operation to mute beeps and tones when you need a little quiet time while driving on the road.

With its fully integrated control microphone, there's no need to reach down to the dash to change channels or adjust other settings. It has the backlit LCD display with 7 selectable colors. The large internal speaker is also built in for clear, crisp communications under noisy conditions. The power button, channel keys, menu, weather, monitor, call, lock and scan controls are right there, as well as the PTT. It's all on the hand mic connected to the base unit with a coiled cord.

The MXT275J is easy to mount. The flip-frame detachable mount installs on or under your dash and allows you to quickly remove the radio from its bracket by simply and easily sliding it out.

The MXT275J includes hand microphone with integrated controls, mic holder, vehicle mount with hardware, detachable magnetic mount antenna with 19 feet of cable, 12V vehicle power adapter, spare fuse, owner's manual and a one year warranty.
