Cutting Thickness Adjustment Method
1. Loosen the wing nut of the thickness baffle counterclockwise.
2. Pull out/push the thickness baffle, rotate the black nut, and adjust the cutting thickness inward/outward.
3. Then tighten the outer wing nut clockwise to fix it.
How to Use
1. Place the guillotine on a smooth and clean flat workbench and confirm that it is stable.
2. Place the food to be processed in the corresponding cutting area of the fuselage workbench, and adjust the distance between the thickness baffle and the blade by screwing in and out of the 2 black nuts, so as to achieve the purpose of controlling the thickness of the slice;
3. Lift the knife handle by hand until the blade is just above the height of the food material, and push the food material in the direction of the thickness baffle until it resists the thickness baffle;
4. Hold the knife handle tightly with your hand, hold the food with your left hand, press the knife handle down to complete a slicing action, and repeat the action to complete the operation.
Long Screw Replacement Instructions
1. Unscrew the two wing nuts on the thickness baffle counterclockwise, remove the thickness baffle, and unscrew the two black nuts.
2. Use the matching wrench to unscrew the two short screws counterclockwise, and then screw in the two long screws clockwise.
3. Then install and tig.
Sharpening Method
1. When the blade is not sharp, please remove the blade when you need to sharpen it.
2. Angle of the blade: one side of the blade is straight and the other side is beveled, the angle between the beveled and straight edges is 20°.
3. first put the sharpening stone in water soaked through, the blade beveled face down, two hands pinch the blade ends, and the blade beveled face against the grinder plane, so that the beveled face and sharpening stone work surface coincide. (The angle between the beveled edge and the straight edge is 20°.) Push the blade back and forth to sharpen and move it from side to side.
Maintenance Methods
1. Ensure that the guillotine is placed on a flat, stable work surface for operation.
2. use a soft cleaning cloth for cleaning, rinse clean, wipe dry and put in a cool and dry place.
3. When not in use for a long time, smear all parts with anti-rust oil (vegetable oil can be used instead), and remove the thickness baffle and store it in a dry place.
