ProductDescription : Scarpa Instinct VS-R Climbing Shoes A more supple version of our award-winning Instinct VS, the Instinct VSR features Vibram Grip2 rubber and a more snug fit across the top of the forefoot, with the same form-fitting, sock-style fit and a lightly asymmetrical last that excels across the spectrum of hard climbing. Perfectly suited to lighter climbers. Microsuede Upper Constructed using a microsuede upper, the Scarpa Instinct VS-R Climbing Shoes are worthy of any outdoor adventure. Designed to provide the right amount of flexibility and support, the upper conforms to the shape of the foot yet, retains its elasticity for a better, more supportive fit. The microsuede upper ensures the shoes hold their shape for long that other leather equivalents plus, its soft on the skin for complete comfort. The upper is built around the down-turned toe last of the Instinct family ensuring precise toe placements with high levels of feedback so you can perform to your best ability. The heel is bonded directly to the outsole meaning you get the same level of support and durability in the heel as you do in the outsole. The rubber in the heel protects you from knocks whilst heel stitching is effective in relieving pressure on the Achilles tendon for added comfort. Added protection also comes from the rubberised toe box which protects the toes from knocks and scrapes and, ribbed to support secure toe hooking. Completing the upper is a single velcro strap that keeps your feet firmly secured to your foot even on the most uncompromising climbs. The Instinct has a specially designed Y-shaped panel system where the single Velcro strap pulls across a larger area thereby providing a tighter snugger fit. Flexan Midsole The midsole of the Instinct VS-R Climbing Shoes is low in profile to save on weight and increase underfoot feel.
