Specification
AgeRangeDescription : Adult
Brand : HISTORY COMPANY
BulletPoint1 : Premium Gift Box Set of 2 iconic original Nick and Nora Crystal Martini Glasses, authentic post-Prohibition-style, inspired by the petite, tried and true glasses popularized by Nick and Nora of 1930s Hollywood
BulletPoint10 : The Nick and Nora glass was named by bartender Dale DeGroff for Nick and Nora Charles, a pair of fictional detectives. DeGroff was hired to lead the bar program at the Rainbow Room restaurant in New York City in 1987, where he popularized classic and forgotten cocktails, served in the glasses of the 1930s
BulletPoint2 : Meticulously crafted from purest, non-lead crystal, ensuring high levels of clarity and brilliance, and finished with etched icons borrowed from the glittering interior of Café Trocadero, the model for nightclub settings in 'The Thin Man' movies
BulletPoint3 : These dainty, stemmed, elongated beauties date from the 1930s and tend to be smaller than the more commonplace curvy breast-shaped coupes; they add a fashionable touch to cocktail service; a classic that emanates luxury and glamour
BulletPoint4 : Crafted with deep, curved bowl and thin, delicate lip, practical and versatile to ensure civilized sipping of the Martini, Manhattan, Sidecar, Bronx, Gimlet, and other straight-up cocktails; ‘Wine Enthusiast’ recommends the glass for serving Old Pal and Bijou cocktails
BulletPoint5 : Dimensions for superior functionality: 2 3/4-inches (T); 2 1/2-inches (B); 5 7/8-inches (H); the modest 6 ounce-size is perfect for drinks that inspire small and elegant sips
BulletPoint6 : Unconditional 100% Quality and Satisfaction Guarantee.
BulletPoint7 : Since 1997, History Company has specialized in extraordinary products inspired by history and authenticity, where ‘Every Gift Holds a Story,’ and where you are sure to find the perfect item for any occasion.
BulletPoint8 : Smaller circumference and higher, rounded sides make it steadier and significantly less likely to spill, making these are many bartenders’ preferred cocktails glasses; the shape has enough in common with a wine glass to make them a good option for serving liqueurs, fortified wines, and other tipples best enjoyed in small quantities
BulletPoint9 : Nick and Nora Charles are a fictional married couple who solve murder mysteries while exchanging smart repartee and sipping cocktails. They are the main characters of the movie ‘The Thin Man’ which was released in 1934, just after the end of Prohibition

ProductDescription :

The Cinematic Nick and Nora Cocktail Glass.  Cafe Trocadero Edition.

One of the most illustrious clubs in LA history, Café Trocadero was truly a glamorous venue where the old Hollywood Guard reveled in decadence.  The "Troc" served as the model for nightclub settings in "The Thin Man" series of films, where Nick and Nora Charles sipped cocktails in between solving crimes.  The real life club saw countless stars including Lana Turner, Deanna Durbin, Rita Hayworth, Robert Taylor, Tyrone Power, Fred Astaire, Jean Harlow, Clark Gable, Bing Crosby and William Powell -- Nick Charles himself!

Evocative of Cafe Trocadero, and somewhere between a Martini glass and a traditional coupe, each Special Edition Nick and Nora glass is etched with icons borrowed from the club's glamorous interior.  Excellent for dinner parties or any occasion where glamour is requested.  Gift Box Set of 2, for keeping or giving.
