The Hummingbird Networks 100% HP Compatible J8177B 1000BASE-T Copper Small Form Pluggable (SFP) are based on the SFP Multi Source Agreement (MSA). It is compatible with the Gigabit Ethernet and 1000BASE-T standards as specified in IEEE Std 802.3. This module is for transmission at 1.25Gbps over universal twisted pair (UTP) Category 5 cable. It supports Ethernet standards which make it ideally suited for 1000BASE-T data communications. It offers customers a wide variety of Gigabit Ethernet connectivity options for data center, enterprise wiring closet, and switch-to-switch applications.
