Birdtown Traders Tailor's Clapper - Complete with Sewing Clips No Burning or Scorching

By using your tailor's clapper you can create sharp creases and easily flatten seams and pleats while protecting your fabric from burning, scorching or shine. The hardwood helps absorb the moisture from the steam iron for flat and crisp seams.

Easy to Use
This clapper works by absorbing the steam applied to a seam and locking in the heat. Simply apply steam from the iron on the intended area. As you press and hold the seam flattener on the area for a few seconds the pressure sets the seam flat as the fabric cools creating a sharp crisp seam.

Comfortable Handling
The grooved sides and rounded edges on both sides makes it easy to grip and is comfortable to handle. Your clapper is sanded smoothly so there are no sharp edges to snag your fabric on.

Hemming Clips
This convenient set of 5 sewing clips can be used by tailors and seamstresses to hold hems in place while sewing. They can be easily applied to almost any thickness of fabric.

Unfinished Hardwood
