How to Use:
Before any measurements are taken using a probe, its compensation should first be checked and adjusted to match that of the channel input. Most oscilloscopes have a square reference signal available on the front panel specifically for the purpose of probe compensation. Connect the probe to the signal source to display a 1 KHz test signal on the oscilloscope. Set the probe to the 10X position.
