3M Perfect-it Foam Polishing Pad is a soft foam buffing pad used to buff out fine scratches created from compounding steps. The waffle face gives you greater surface contact area than flat surface pads over contoured surfaces, minimizes heat buildup during buffing and helps eliminates swirl marks. It also helps the pad hold the polish and reduce slinging. 3M Perfect-It Ultrafine Polishing Pad helps to eliminate swirl marks on painted surfaces, even on difficult dark colored cars. The unique waffle face design applies polish evenly without releasing excess polish that may cause ripples in the finish.

3M developed foam pads to address the unique chemical composition of evolving paint and clear coat technologies. Foam pads are generally less aggressive and produce a finer finish than wool pads.Perfect to remove fine scratches, compound swirl marks, and surface marring. Foam buffing pads are used in conjunction with machine polishes and are suitable to use with rotary and random orbital tools.
