ProductDescription : 1320 Performance Polaris Slingshot shifter adapter 7075 Aluminum/304 Stainless When we first start modifying the Polaris Slingshot we notice the factory shifter that does not have any thread and it got a funky side screw type shift knob. After we tried over 30 shift knobs and barely can find one to fit onto the factory shifter. In order to fix this problem, we took off the factory shifter adapter and machine a whole new piece that will allow you to use any shift knob with an M10x1.5 thread pitch ( most common aftermarket shift knob thread size). This shifter adapter is engineered specifically for the Polaris Slingshot out of high quality 7075 Aluminum (not the cheap soft 6061 Aluminum) that every one else is using to save cost. The shifter thread is made out of 304 Stainless steel so it won't break during hard gear change. A high-quality stainless steel jam nut for the shift knob is included, therefore your shift knob will always face the correct direction. This is a direct bolt on shifter adapter to allow you easily put on the shift knob of your choice. You will receive in this auction: 1x Polaris slingshot shifter adapter (10x1.5 thread size) 1x stainless steel jam nut. *** shift knobs are not included.
