Precision Polar alignment is now possible! Install this Micro Adjustment Kit and you can have precision adjustment in your Meade #884 Deluxe Field Tripod for the Alt/Az and Polar positions. A small screw driver is all you need to install the kit. The Micro adjustment kit allow precision leveling of the tripod top platform in the Alt/Az home position. You turn the adjustment nut to raise of lower the platform. The Micro adjustment kit allow precision altitude adjustment Polar home position. The threaded rod allows precision altitude adjustment. You turn the adjustment nut to change the Latitude of the telescope. The Micro Adjustment Kit come with all the hardware needed and instruction. NO drilling required.
