Directions : One of our tea bags brews 5 gallons of vermicompost ‘worm’ tea. Simply steep the tea bag in 5 gallons of water for 24 hours. For best results aerate the tea while brewing for 24 hours. This can be accomplished using an aquarium pump or an air compressor. We recommend adding one tablespoon of unsulphered molasses or honey to help feed the microbes while the tea is brewing. If your water is chlorinated, let sit for 24 hours before brewing worm tea to let the chlorine dissipate. Use a watering pale, pump sprayer or dial sprayer to apply the worm tea to your plants, garden or lawn. If fertilizing your lawn with worm tea we recommend 20 gallons per acre, four times a year. You may use the tea as is or dilute 1 to 1 with water.
