Our gesso is manufactured with a liquid-smooth brushing consistency that allows the user to create an even prep surface. Gesso is waterproof when dry and produces a fine transparent painting surface suitable for oil painting, acrylic painting, and watercolor painting. Colored gesso can easily be created by adding any color acrylic paint to the clear gesso base.
