R&F Encaustic Soy Wax 1-pounds is an excellent alternative to paraffin for cleaning brushes. Soy beans are a non-toxic renewable resource that are naturally biodegradable. Soy wax is easier to remove than paraffin wax, so after the color is cleaned out of the brush, the brush can be washed with soap and water and is reusable in other mediums.
