These brown wire connectors are used for quick solderless wire connections from the leads of a light socket to a power feed line. Connects 14-16 gauge socket leads to a 12 gauge power line. (Note: will not work on 12 gauge wire with extra-thick rubber insulation like you would purchase from a local Home Center). Works excellent with Kerr Lighting's 12/2 Low Voltage Cable available on Amazon. NOTE: To make connectors extremely weather tight, apply some Di-Electric Grease to the connector's contacts before clamping over wire. Di-Electric Grease is available at any local Auto Parts store.
