The Moka Express, made by Bialetti in Italy, is the original stove top coffee maker. With it you can make authentic espresso at home. It is made from solid cast aluminium with a black acrylic handle and knob. All pressure valves are fitted with top quality stainless steel springs and ball bearings for safety and durability. It should be hand washed in warm soapy water and rinsed clean. The 9 Espresso Cup is equivalent to 550ml/18.5fl.oz (maximum boiler capacity) - please note that this size is based on espresso cup sizes and not on the size of regular tea or coffee cups. It has an overall height of 25cm/10in with a base of 10.5cm/4.1in. The Moka express is suitable for all hobs except induction.
This traditional Italian steam-infusion espresso maker brews rich, delicious espresso in the old-world style, but don't depend on it to keep coffee warm or to reheat leftovers. Crafted of polished aluminum, the finish may need an occasional polish--after using it, just hand wash with a soft cloth and mild detergent and then wipe dry.
