ProductDescription : The SIP-based Algo 8028G2 (8028 G2) Voice over IP Secure Door / Gate Access Control Intercom replaces the discontinued 8028 doorphone and is similar to the Algo 8201 SIP intercom. The 8028G2 adds PoE, PoE+, Secure SIP, RESTful API, and a remotely located control unit for higher security eliminating door access tampering. The 8028G2 is NEMA 3R outdoor / indoor rated and has a door control relay that can connect to most any door release, gate activation system or access control panel. Additionally, there are low current programmable inputs and outputs at both control unit and intercom station for door sensing, door unlock switch, door unlock override, auxiliary call buttons, or telephone status such as ringing or in-use. is powered via PoE and is UL/CSA, FCC and CE certified. This 8028G2 kit includes a controller, intercom station with stainless steel faceplate and a surface mount bracket for wall mounting. The intercom station can also be flush mounted into a double gang box (not included). Mounting gaskets are also included in the kit for installing the intercom in any outdoor environment. Relay port can also be connected to the AR26LPW PoE strobe, Algo 1127 or 1128 strobes or trigger remote Algo SIP Ringers & Strobes over network. The installer should be familiar with configuration and programming of Voice over IP devices via web-based graphical user interface or provisioning. Requires Power over Ethernet. If PoE is not available, use PoE Injector. Controller must be installed indoors, door station is indoor/outdoor rated.
