It has a female slip opening for sliding over the end of a male unthreaded pipe. The slip end connects to pipes with a smooth bore for enhanced flow. ✔ It is suitable for cold-water pressure distribution systems including irrigation, pool and spa, potable water, underground sprinkler systems, and chilled water applications.
