It mounts quickly and easily to almost any type of dock or pier, and can easily be adjusted to accommodate different water levels. Floats can also be purchased for the motor unit to install the unit out in the open water. The Dock Mounted Deicer with stand keeps ice from forming by bringing warmer water from the bottom of your lake or pond and sending it up and out in a continuous agitated movement. This helps prevent dock pilings from being jacked or lifted by acting as a buffer to prevent ice creation, expansion, and pressure damage.
