BulletPoint4 : Installation Instructions 2: Apply a generous amount of PTFE (Teflon) based lubrication to the tank oring and install onto filter housing. Close the filter and run the pump to inspect possible leaks.
BulletPoint5 : Note: It is always recommended to clean the filter once opening it to change out the tank oring in order to reduce any excess pressure that may have been built up due to debris.
