The maintenance spring tension mechanism has been designed for balanced and effortless raising and lowering of the unit and is concealed inside the base for safety and appearance. The Hoopmaster is designed for main court play in colleges, schools, churches, clubs, high and intramural and recreational leagues. It is also ideal for all side court play including highly competitive arena professionals and is FIBA approved for international competition. Available in 8, 7 and 5 boom extensions for all levels of play and adjustable to heights of 8, 9 and 10 (5 ft. boom extension is included with this product), the Hoopmaster comes with an official size ( 42" x 72") shatter proof glass backboard, our original Pro-Mold backboard, padding and a positive locking breakaway lens. The base is fully padded on three sides with vinyl covered high density polyurethane foam. Also, the front is padded for a height of 7. Boom Pad and tether system are included with the unit.
