The success story began in 1953 when the vitavit® series had been the first pressure cookers to be equipped with a multi-level cooking valve that made pressure cooking safe for private households around the world. Over the past 65 years the vitavit® series has earned multiple awards for its design and functionality. The vitavit® premium represents the evolution of the iconic pressure cooker of 1953 and convinces with a multitude of smart features. 

Made from high-quality satin-finished 18/10 stainless steel, it is insusceptible to fingerprints and scratches as well as being rust-resistant. 

Three adjustable pressure settings for precise cooking results that accommodate all needs from gentle cooking to express cooking, while preserving important vitamins. Additionally, there is a pressureless steam cooking feature integrated. Thanks to the trafficlight cooking indicator the pressure in the pot can easily be controlled. Pressure can be comfortably and easily released as desired with the pressure release feature of either indicator or handle. 

The novogrill® base surface allows for a low-fat grilling effect for vegetables and meats. When using the insert simultaneous preparation of complete dishes is possible, side dishes and desserts can also be prepared.  

Vitavit® is suitable for all stove tops and equipped with the cookstar® all-stove base that works on all stovetops and offers ideal heat absorption, distribution and retention.
