ProductDescription : 50/60 Hz M-Series II Chassis with Remote Reset (120V). fireye M-Series II Modular Flame Protection Controls are compact, modular burner management systems. They provide automatic ignition and continuous flame monitoring for commercial size heating and process burners using gas and/or light oil fuels. Flame detection is accomplished by miniature UV scanners or flame rod/photocell detectors and plug-in programmer and amplifier modules connected to a standard chassis and wiring base. Interchangeable programmer and amplifier modules allow complete versatility in selecting control function, timing, and flame scanning means. Functions such as relighting, two-stage capability, purge timing, and pilot shutoff are determined by the programmer module. Flame scanner type (UV, flame rod, or photocell). and Flame Failure Response Time (FFRT) are determined by the amplifier module. Some programmer modules have switches to select purge timing, pilot test for ignition (PTFI) timing, and recycle or non-recycle operation. LED indicator lights on all programmer modules indicate the operating status of the control. In the event of a failure to ignite, or after a safety shutdown, the unit locks out, activating an alarm circuit. Manual reset is required. Remote restart (via remote button or power interruption) is available on the MC120R chassis. Post-purge is available on the MC120P chassis. Test connectors allow measurement of the flame signal during operation. A "run-check" switch on the MP560, MP561, MP562 programmer module assists in testing pilot size, position, and stabilization. M-Series II modular controls incorporate a safety check circuit that operates on every start-up. If flame (real or simulated) is detected prior to a start or during purge, the fuel valves will not energize and the tiller will lock out.
