ProductDescription : The Murray Sporting Goods Baseball Protective L-Screen is durable and a perfect purchase to keep coaches and players safe while throwing batting practice. Our baseball pitching screens are shaped like an “L” to allow the pitchers to throw the ball on the short side (3.5 ft tall) while the taller side (7 ft tall) helps protect the pitcher while standing behind the net. The ultimate safety feature on our baseball L-screens is the 45 degree hip protector metal pole that connects the short side to the tall side. When you're pitching and finishing your release point, if a batter were to hit a line drive back up the middle the hip protector is there to save your hip from being hit by a ball on your follow through. The net is a 90-ply durable thickness that will easily absorb hard hit balls back up the middle during batting sessions. Wheels are included to help with transportation to and from practice, moving it in and out of batting cages or moving it around the field during batting/pitching practice. The wheels were designed to be small for the bottom bar to stay as close to the ground as possible to not allow a ground ball to get underneath the bottom bar. The assembly for this L-screen is an easy, one-person job. The metal poles simply snap together to assemble the frame. Then once the frame has been assembled, slide the durable net over top and you are ready to throw your next BP session.
