The removing tool threads onto a slide hammer with 5/8 - 18 threads to remove sleeves quickly. The installer seats new sleeves equally fast without damage. The OTC 5024 works on HEUI style injectors that were used from 1995 to 2003. It does not work on injectors for engines that are 2004 model year and newer or on Ford 7.3L diesel engines.
