* This Brix Refractometer includes a proportion scale. You don't need to convert between Brix and proportion when measuring the proportion of your must or wort. Accurately measuring the final proportion still requires some calculations because the presence of alcohol affects the reading. Best of all, only a few drops of liquid are needed to get an accurate reading. No need to lose a whole can of beer or wine in the process of testing the hydrometer.
* The proportion scale will quickly read your proportion. Once fermentation begins and alcohol is present, keep track of the Brix scale and use the refractometer calculator to make a final proportion correction.
* ATC compensation range (built-in automatic temperature compensation system) is 10~30°C.
* Easy and convenient to use. Drop a few drops of liquid on the optical part of the refractometer, cover the prism (the liquid will spread more easily on the prism), observe against the light through the eyepiece (focus if necessary), and read the result value on the scale.
