ProductDescription : Fire Safety Valve 3/4" NPT (f) x 3/4" NPT (f) Fusible Fire Safety Valves are designed to reduce fire damage by shutting off the flow of oil from the oil tank in the event of a fire. These valves conform to UL/ULC 842 and are listed in the US and Canada. They are required by code in residential oil heating installations in conformance with NFPA 31. All valves are embossed with the direction of oil flow and include unique part number identification ring or each valve. The seal stem uses a double seal washer/ o-ring system with high grade Viton equivalent materials suitable for No. 2 fuel oil, Kerosene and up to 20% Biodiesel blend.
