Make sure that you have chosen the right size buckle. Insert the pin in the band which has to go through the tongue of the buckle and then come out the other side of the band. Make sure that the new buckle size will match the one that you are trying to replace. (Tips : Make sure the width of the tongue that stays on the middle of the band is the same or very similar size as well, so the installation will be smooth and nice.) Next Insert the Pin into one of the Buckle Side Holes, but make sure that the tongue of the buckle is on the top position, because if you lock the pin in, you want the tongue in the correct position, not upside down or under. Since the Pin is with a spring , now you have to connect the other side of the pin into the other buckle hole. You can use the Fork side of the tool to compress the pin and guide it towards the hole so the pin will lock into position.
