ProductDescription : High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) is used in many different applications in both automotive and non-automotive pieces. It has a waxy feel, like low density polyethylene, but is stiffer and less flexible. You can find HDPE in fender liners, windshield washer bottles, and overflow tanks in automotive applications. In non-automotive applications, HDPE is used for ATV fenders, gas tanks, kayaks, canoes, playground equipment, and more. HDPE is naturally a translucent white color. Yellow pigment has been added to this welding rod to get a better match when welding yellow HDPE pieces. This package contains 1 lb. (0.45 kg) of high density polyethylene (HDPE) plastic welding rod. Each rod is 12 inches (30 cm) long and 1/8th inch (3 mm) in diameter and there are approximately 257 rods in 1 lb. (0.45kg).
