Applications & Features:
--- Suitable for processing, correcting or cleaning external threads on stainless steel, aluminum alloy, cast iron, copper, iron, aluminum, plastic. Great for re-threading existing threads on hard materials like metal and create new threads on soft materials like plastic. Widely used for thread repair in machinery. Appropriate lubricating oil should be added to the cutting edge when tapping. It facilitates cutting or cooling, making cutting lighter and faster, improving finish and dimensional accuracy. The tapping operation should be repeated 3-4 times until the required thread length is tapped.
--- The commonly used 9SiCr alloy tool steel has high hardness, high torque, good toughness, high hardening capacity and high tempering stability. Rounded design, clear threads, wear-resistant, easy thread repair. The surface is coated with grease to lubricate and prevent rust. The threading die cuts into the screw clockwise and reverses every 1/4 to 1/2 turn to evacuate chips from the chip hole. The die positioning groove should be aligned with the fastening screw in the middle of the die wrench. The screw should be inserted into the groove and tightened. Pay attention to uniform force.

Useful Tips:
--- The diameter of the bar should be about 0.05-0.15mm smaller than the nominal diameter of the required thread. The slightly smaller diameter facilitates tapping and maintains adequate thread height. The end of the bar should have a 1*45 degree chamfer. Do not use on tiles, concrete, walls, stones, etc.
