ProductDescription : TFT Series Metalized Conspicuity Tape on 2″ x 150′ Continuous Roll with 7″x11″ red/white pattern. Thin film design is built on a single acrylic (PMMA) layer with metalized micro-prisms coupled to an aggressive pressure sensitive adhesive to create a highly reflective and extremely durable vehicle marking product assured to increase the visibility of your equipment. The single layer construction prevents delamination and cell damage when cutting at seams or around rivets. The metalized design is resistant to edge lift or strike damage. The highly agressive adhesive bonds to most any substrate material. Exceeding DOT-C2 and FMVSS Standards by several times the TFT Series is 3rd party tested and certified to be among the brightest reflective products in the industry.

Note to Reflective Tape Buyers: Know what you are buying and ask the right questions to avoid substandard and often illegal tape that does not pass DOT requirements or will not last the advertised time:

Q: What material is the tape made with? A: If it is not Acrylic (PMMA) then it is likely illegal and will not last more than 3 years. PET material is the lowest grade of glass bead tape, which is not legal for DOT-C2 requirements due to its poor UV stability and difficulty in manufacturing consistent reflectivity. All Jammy tape is made with PMMA Acrylic.

Q: Can the manufacturer provide photometric certification of reflectivity standards? A: Jammy 3rd party certifies all products in addition to requiring manufacturer certifications.
