Double Blade Grafting Knife

How it works

• Cut the scion to be grafted from the tree. Bevel cut to facilitate sliding into the host tree.
• Hoose a good spot on the host tree. Ideally you want to graft to a branch – or sapling – that’s between a quarter and one inch in diameter, and find a place as far from any existing buds as possible. If necessary trim away any buds within 6 to 8 inches of the graft site.
• Cut a deep enough incision in the host tree trunk.
• Carefully lift the bark with the knifes' bark lifter and slide the scion into the cut. Then, bind with the tape to seal the grafting site, taking care not to disturb the scion.
• Note: Be careful not to disturb the scion when applying the tape.Bind as much as where the cut section meets.

Fruit Tree Grafting Tape

• Includes 3 rolls of tapes, made of high quality PE (white tape) + PVC (green/yellow tape) material. It is decomposable, elastic and tightly wraps around the graft. Stretches with plant growth. Easy to remove after the tree heal itself.
• Ideal for budding and grafting of fruits and flowers such as apple trees, citrus trees, peach trees, walnuts, avocados, etc, to keep moisture inside graft section.
