The outside diameter of the wafers is 32 inches. There are options between 100% poly bristles with no wire, 100% wire bristles and a combo of Poly/Wire. Poly wafers perform best on loose debris. They provide excellent flicking (broadcasting) action, but do not cut as well into hard-packed snow, ice, or dirt. Wire brushes perform best when a cutting action is needed. These work fantastic on hard-packed ice, snow, dirt, and mud. Convoluted wafers do not require spacers; they are installed in an alternating pattern, which provides 100% coverage without any missed “strips” in the sweeping pattern.
