Our products are formulated with 100% plant-based ingredients. The Palm Fruit Oil base used on our oil and conditioner is RSPO Certified, guaranteeing the sustainability and traceability of the palm oil production throughout the supply chain. The RSPO has production standards for growers that set best practices for producing and sourcing palm oil. No Mineral Oil Other top-selling butcher block oils contain mineral oil and often beeswax. While these products accomplish their intended purpose, they cannot be classified as sustainable. Mineral oil is not natural! It’s a petrochemical derived from the processing of crude oil, and crude-oil extraction poses long-term risks to our environment, in addition, petroleum refineries are a major source of hazardous and toxic air pollutants. No Beeswax While bees wax is a true wonder of Nature, beeswax harvesting is a topic fraught with controversy, since anything less than best-practices honey harvesting can put at risk the overall health of the hive’s bee population.
