This is a 1/75 "Pinta" Sailing Ship Model Kit produced by Heller! The kit consists of 113 pieces and will measure about 240mm x 300mm x 135mm once fully assembled. Alongside the Nina, and the Santa Maria, the Pinta was part of the fleet which Christopher Columbus thought would take him to India. In fact, he wound up discovering the new world (America). The Pinta, like the Nina, was owned by the Pinzon brothers, was the fastest of the 3 ships, and captained by Martin Alonzo Pinzon.
