If your lid/door is heavier than 15lbs, you can choose stronger struts.

How to adjust the open degree?

Through move the mounting point on the lid to adjust the open degree.

The mounting point is 2.16-5.26 inch to the hinge, the open angle is about 90-120 degree.

The mounting point is 1.65 inch to the hinge, the open angle is more than 120 degree.

If it's too powerful, you can move the mounting point 0.79 inch towards the hinges's direction, if it's too weak, you can move it 0.79 inch towards the opposite direction.
