It comes in an easy-to-use syringe which offers a no-mess, no-waste way to disperse the soldering paste. You can use the exact amount of product needed to accomplish the job without the wasteful dripping. We designed it for easy application perfect for both experts and beginners. CAN BE USED ON ALMOST ANY METAL SP-7 is a soldering flux that can be used in electronic components. Our anti-rust solder is corrosion-resistant. The deposit stays bright and doesn't turn black. This makes it ideal for brass, bronze, nickel, as well as stainless steel joints, and copper-based metals and steels. You can use it for wiring, connectors, and circuit board work. You can make it a part of your jewelry repair kit. It has high conductivity and is also excellent for electrical work and instrument assembly where high electrical conductivity is required. EXTREMELY TOUGH It has 10,000-25,000 PSI tensile strength, making it five times stronger than conventional solder wire. It also has a low melting point that allows it to flow smoothly at 430 F and re-melt at 650 F. It flows freely with the heat of a torch, soldering iron, or match. It helps prevent soldering failure due to jarring or moving of parts while soldering because of the instant setting. It’s also non-toxic and contains no lead, cadmium, antimony, or zinc. EASY APPLICATION Clean the joint area, preferably with a stainless steel brush. Then, push the syringe plunger to apply paste along the base metal joint area. With flame 2” to 3” from the surface, evenly heat the workpiece. Avoid playing flame on solder paste until flow temperature is reached. Then, with the top of the flame at the joint area, direct the flow of paste along the length of the joint area. Allow to cool and wash flux residue off using warm soapy water and a stiff brush.
