Foot Switch: The precision of spot welding can be improved by controlling the welding time by foot switch to prevent interference with hand operation.

Application

It can be used for the rapid welding of platinum, gold, K gold, silver, and steel. It is mainly used for welding the ring clasp of the jewelry. Workpieces such as metal plates and tubes cannot be welded.

 

How to Operate

1. Connect the power cord.

2. Install the hand-held welding gun/pedestal, fixture, foot switch, and tungsten needle in turn

3. Turn on the power switch.

4. Adjust the height of the tungsten needle(the welding head should extend about 1.96in.).

5. Adjust the coarse tune knob and fine tune knob.

6. Adjust welding distance.

7. Hold the workpiece with the fixture.

8. Step on the foot switch with your foot (move your foot away quickly), and the spot welding is completed.

Notes

1. Before using the welding machine, check whether the power supply meets the operating voltage. Connect the output wire of the welding machine to the screw of the corresponding polarity (tighten the nut when connecting the output wire to the output polarity).

2. When working, clamp the workpiece with the fixture, close to the tungsten needle. Depending on the size and shape of the workpiece, generally, the distance between the tungsten needle and the workpiece is 0.007-0.04in. The discharge end of the tungsten needle must be sharp before and during use.

3. Please do not put the welding machine in a damp place and keep it dry.

4. Please don't step on the foot switch for a long time. Step on it and move away immediately. If the switch is pressed for a long time and the machine is in a short circuit state, the internal circuit will be burned.

5. Strong light will be released during welding. Please wear protective glasses during welding and do not look directly at the welding part.

6. When stepping on the foot switch, do not touch the metal part of the tungsten needle and the fixture at the same time, otherwise, there will be a feeling of acupuncture.

7. Non-professional personnel are not allowed to disassemble and repair. There is a high voltage inside.

8. Please note that only 0.5-1.5mm diameter can be welded. Too thick or too thin can not be welded.

9. Please read the manual completely before installation and use, and pay particular attention to the safety instructions included. 

10. Please allow the slight color difference caused by the shooting light and 1-3cm error due to manual measurement, and make sure you do not mind before you order.
