Fill the 80 lb. hopper with granular fertilizers or seed in spring and summer to feed and rejuvenate lawns. In the winter, you can apply ice melt or dry free-flowing salt to driveways, pathways, walkways, etc. The unique cam-operated oscillating agitator improves product flow and will not damage the product coating. The 5:1 gear ratio and enclosed gearbox provides even product distribution, while shielding the gears from dust and debris. The handles are adjustable to three different positions to accommodate users of all sizes. The spreader's oversized 13 x 5.00-6 tires, which have no rust rims, increase stability and have excellent traction, even on taller, thicker, and rougher lawns. A manual deflector is included to prevent materials from dispersing on the right side. The Ultra Spreader Repair Kit includes the parts you need to replace the existing agitator assembly and upgrade the impeller on the Lesco 101186 Fertilizer Spreader. The N2320 Ultra Plus Impeller is a new and improved version of the standard impeller on the Lesco 101186. It is made with virgin poly resins to help reduce impeller wobble once the impeller wears and is designed with small gussets on the vertical ribs to increase strength and reduce fertilizer buildup at the ribs' sharp angle. This impeller wobble and fertilizer sticking are the two main causes for uneven spreading patterns. Note: The Lesco 101186 Spreader replaces the 091186.
