The spray head sits on a heavy-duty metal base that fits over a 1 1/2 inch pole. The length (height) of the pole can be adjusted to increase the reach of the water jet. The base of the sprinkler has a flow-thru design feature that allows several sprinklers to be connected together and operate from a single water source.
