If choosing a multiple tier (2 tier, 4 tier) dryer rack, you simply get (in one package) — unassembled — multiple single tiers that are easy to assemble to make one multiple-tier rack by using the small wooden posts included in the package (one post for each corner of each rack)

Posts (each 3-3/16 inch in length and 1/2 inch in diameter) fit into indentations on corners of rack and on both sides of it (since rack has indentations on both sides), so that (in a multiple-tier rack) you can use one set of posts on which to support the bottom rack, and the next set of posts both to place in the holes on the reverse side (top) of the bottom rack and to hold the next tier together with the bottom one
