The highly visible Shiny steps and the laser etched highlighted step size marks make it easy for you to see and control when drilling holes. The split point self-starting tip prevents working. Thick 3/8'' Tri-flatted shank provides a firm, positive grip and won't spin out in the drill. Ideal for drilling holes in Stainless steel, Mild steel, Galvanized steel, Aluminum, Copper, Plastic, Wood, or anything that has similar or lower hardness as these materials.Drilling at low speed (300RPM recommended) with cooling oil will help the step bits last longer.
