These include a heavy-duty chemically resistant PP casing, corrosion resistant ball with self-lubricating armature, and a PVC jacketed cable with molded PP cable gland. Together, they form an IP68 waterproof rated sump pump switch that withstands temperature extremes from 32 to 140 Fahrenheit degrees. Quick and Easy Installation WaterBoss has a piggyback plug that allows it to directly control non-continuous operation of motors of up to 1/2 horsepower or 13 amps. Configured as Normally Open for emptying use only, this universal water tank float switch comes with cable ties that permit you to customize rotation points for the float.
