They can supply 5/9/12V power output and deliver power up to 328.1 feet (100 meters) away. However, they are not 802.3af compliant and cannot be used separately with other 802.3af compliant injectors or splitters. How It Works On the input side of the injector, connect the injector to its power adapter and a data source such as a router or a switch. On the output side of the splitter, connect the splitter to a non-PoE network device such as an access point, VoIP phone, or a PoE camera to provide power and data.
