The IS-3M was a modernized IS-3, while the parallel program for the IS-3M began in 1960. This included additional hull reinforcement, the replacement of the gun, the substitution of the engine, air filter system, and other small changes. New wheels were added, while external stowage was also improved. This highly-detailed plastic model kit is an accurate representation of the military vehicle.
