ProductDescription : Turkish tea is traditionally prepared in a so-called çaydanlık (pronounced tjajdanluk). This is a two-piece teapot consisting of a larger and a smaller pot. The smaller teapot is then placed on top of the larger one. The top pot contains loose tea and a little bit of water. The rest of the water is poured into the lower pot. The tea is then allowed to steep for a long time (+/- 20 minutes), after which the boiled water from the lower pot is poured into the upper pot. The tea is then poured from this upper (smaller) pot.
