Make new female threads or re-thread damaged female threads in stainless steel, ordinary steel, copper, aluminum, iron, alloy steel, hard plastic. Machine taps are used in tapping machines, vertical drilling and milling machines. Used on drilling machines, tapping machines, CNC and milling machines. Use with tapping oil to get higher quality threads and more durable taps.

Useful Tips:
Control speed based on material hardness. Feed rate (recommended): ordinary steel (copper aluminium alloy): 6-15m/min; hard steel: 5-10m/min; stainless steel: 2-7m/min; cast iron: 8-10m/min. The higher the hardness, the slower the speed. Fast speed and low torque; slow speed and high torque.
When tapping plastic, add lubricating coolant. For steel, motor oil is generally used, and vegetable oil is used for high requirements. Use No. 50 motor oil for stainless steel.
