Our 1500 Series Base Resin was developed to be used in conjunction with a variety of our activators, fillers and pigment from minor repairs to technical composite projects. These products are great for use within the marine, experimental aviation, woodworking and construction industries, and this simple system is fantastic for DIYers, carpenters and professional laminators. Low viscosity for great wet-out capabilities. The base resin can be used in conjunction with any hardener we have and is the backbone of our system. The Base for the Superbond Laminating Epoxy System. The 1500 Laminating Epoxy works with all of our Superbond Laminating Epoxy Activators, giving you the ability to have different working times, hardness, heat resistance and even clarity to suit all of your epoxy needs. Superbond Laminating Epoxy provides not only the easiest and familiar system to work with, but unparalleled strength, chemical resistance and hardness. The Superbond epoxies are 100 percent solids, making the Superbond Laminating System VOC free, and safe to work with in any environment. The 1500 Laminating Epoxy is a very light Amber clarity with a viscosity of about 950cps, making it perfect for thin coatings or hand layup of fiberglass. Mix the Superbond Laminating System with a variety of FGCI fillers to create putties and adhesives used for a variety of purposes from filling and fairing to adhesion. All Superbond products adhere extremely well to surfaces like concrete, wood, fabrics, foams, coring and much more. The product can be poured into a mixing cup or dispensed with a pump to ensure you get the right mixture by volume every time.
