The trumpet mouthpiece's external design is based on the early 1920's design. The cornet mouthpiece's shape and contours are based on Vincent Bach's favorite personal mouthpiece from the mid-1950's. The trombone mouthpiece is based on designs from the 1940's and 50's. Each mouthpiece has specially selected throats and backbores to compliment the playing characteristics of their era.
