This Type R vest features a 5-point breakaway system comprised of hook and loop fasteners at the front, sides and shoulders that will detach from the body in the event of an entanglement hazard. For added convenience, 6 total pockets are integrated into the vest’s design, including 2 flap pockets at the waist, 2 hook and loop chest pockets and 2 inner chest pockets. This safety vest is ideal for airport technicians, baggage handlers, utility workers, chemical plant workers and any work that requires personnel to be near fast-moving machinery that presents risk of entanglement. It is also appropriate for improving worker visibility in all but the most demanding applications – from construction, high-volume traffic safety, land surveying and off-road assistance to jogging, cycling, walking or fishing. To clean, simply handwash in warm water and mild detergent, then leave to air dry. For heavy soiling, gently spot clean with a mild soap. Do NOT machine dry.
